Derived Property

The DerivedProperty policy creates new properties as functions of other properties already in scope. These new properties are cerated in a registry called table-namederived. These properties are defined using java properties of the form:

properties.[table-name].[property-name]=[prop-expression]

The right hand side of this definition is a PropExpression

Note that propertied defined in this way are specific to the table they are defined in. They therefore will not be available if the table is combined with others in a composite UsageProducer. Int his cast the Expression Property Policy can be used instead.
